You can see them as a secret gang that controls many aspects of society from the shadows. These wealthy families have a hand on everything that you call entertainment.
From the music industry, movie industry, gaming industry, media & news, books industry, fashion industry to big brands that you probably buy every time you go to the super market, they just are all connected.
So just like gang members do in the hood, they communicate with secret symbols & gestures that only the initiates can recognize.
This is why this series is so important. Once you start understanding the secret meaning of symbols that you may see all the time without noticing, and have been tricked into thinking they mean something, when they actually have a different meaning to the "initiates/gang members", it will give you a better understanding of the true battle of this world.
